Ladies let’s celebrate

Ladies let’s celebrate

.

If you had of told me at the start of the year that I had to do a whole term of homeschooling, with no support, no visitors, going to the closest supermarket every few days, only getting fresh air for one hour per day, I would have said IMPOSSIBLE

.

I will break!

.

Well that just happened in term 3, plus the previous months of Isolation before that

.

I didn’t break, just slightly fractured. Fractures do heal eventually

.

It reminds me of the Japanese art Kintsugi, which is the process of repairing broken pottery that then takes on a new unique shape. In philosophy it treats breakage and repair as part of the history of an object, rather than something to disguise

.

I like that

.

2020 will definitely be part of history, and as we put the broken pieces back together it will bring forth a new appearance.

Namaste xx
