Do you use Mantra's?

I actually love using them and often have a few on the go at once. At the start of every year I come up with a statement. This helps me to keep focused and reminds me of my intentions for the year when times get busy
.
At the moment I have 3 words I am using for Lockdown 2.0. They are CALM, PRESENT and HEALTH. I have them up in my kitchen so every morning I can repeat them to myself
.
Some people also call them affirmations.
In yoga it is referred as 'Japa' and this means to use any word, phrase or chant that is repeated to keep your mind focused. They are amazing to use in meditation also
.
You may have experienced in a yoga class partaking in making the sound 'Om'. This sound is considered the basic sound of everything in the universe, therefore creating positive vibrations in your body
.
Using any of the above mantra's will improve your concentration/focus and allow you to bring awareness to your present moment and intentions
