Ancient Plant Medicine
Do you consider yourself to be an Ancient Medicine Woman?
The answer is Yes, of course we are!
Using plants, potions and herbs are ingrained in our DNA as women. We used this form of healing to mend our children, partners, sisters, friends and community for thousands of years.
Who recalls as a young girl making potions and spells???
I remember always making something out of mud and water. My daughter today will use any excuse to make a potion. Collecting leaves and herbs, mixing them together with water and dirt!
This is what I mean by it being deeply ingrained into our DNA, its a remembering for a child when they play and;
It's a remembering for me now when I use Essential Oils in my home.
The photo I shared is what I call my 'medicine cabinet'. Instead of reaching for pharmaceuticals, I will investigate how the natural oils can help myself and my family first. Don't get me wrong there is a time and place for modern medicine, however I choose the alternative first.
The ongoing list of how these oils can support us blows me away everyday, from emotional support to physical ailments to even removing toxic chemicals from our houses.
I have assisted many of my friends with the use of these oils, because the knowledge on how to use them should be shared. That's what we do in sisterhood, help each other to learn and therefore RISE.
Here are just a few examples:
I have witnessed a young girl going from wetting her bed every night to only every now and again
A spray mist I made to help out a lady going through awful hot flushes with menopause (and yes it has completely removed them during the day, allowing her to feel less anxious in public)
Roller bottles for kids to support them with anxiety and unease
Using peppermint on your temples to ease the common headache
When I did the water fast, simply smelling different oils took away the hunger and feelings of deprivation
Women who have experienced break-ups in relationships have said using an oil blend at night aids their sleep
I could go on and on!!!
Im so excited because today I am giving away an ebook I have created called, Emotional Support in Isolation. Just email me for your own copy.
Now it is time Ancient Medicine Woman to go and experiment with these oils and see how they WILL change your life.
