Selfless

To be Selfless....

It is highly regarded to be selfless, something people would comment and say in awe "Oh, you are so selfless"

But when you actually break it down;

SELF LESS

Does that actually mean to care for yourself less than another?
Im not sure I like this. If we called it LessSelf, It would not have the same amazement.

When did society regard people who do not put themselves first as something to admire?

When are you being selfless and how could that turn into;
